Harford Technical High School's carpentry trade is a program for tenth through twelfth grade students.  The program focuses on both residential and commercial construction with an emphasis on wood and metal framing, stair building, concrete framework, cabinetry, and millwork.  The student's experience is hands-on, working on actual projects both on and off the school campus.

The carpentry program introduces students to the many opportunities available after graduation and prepares them to enter an apprenticeship and become successful journeyman.  The two-year program is a great start to a successful future.  Three periods a day students are challenged to meet new standards and reach new goals.
